• Consent record: whether you checked the consent box, the exact consent text you accepted, the date and time, your IP address and the page URL where you submitted the form.

How we use your information

• To match your project with up to 4 independent licensed contractors serving your area.
• To contact you about your request by phone, text message or email.
• To keep a record of your consent to be contacted.
• To operate, secure and improve the website and measure how it is used.
• To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

Who we share it with

• Matched contractors: we share your project details and contact information with up to 4 independent licensed contractors listed on our Partners page so they can contact you with quotes. Contractors may pay us a fee for these referrals. Each contractor is an independent business responsible for its own use of your information.
• Service providers: companies that host the website, store form submissions and send emails on our behalf, only as needed to provide those services.
• Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public.

We do not sell your information for any purpose other than matching your own project.

Your choices

• Text messages: reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts from that sender.
• Calls and email: ask the contractor to stop contacting you, or tell us through our contact form and we will pass your request on.
• Access or deletion: you can ask to see or delete the information we hold about you through our contact form. We may keep the consent record where the law allows or requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests for up to 24 months. We keep consent records for up to 4 years, the period during which a consent may need to be shown under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. After that, we delete or anonymize the data.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

This website is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.
